MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: JAKE MILENDORF
A lifelong performer with deep roots in comedy and the stage, Jake Milendorf has been immersed in improv since middle school, performing on both the Lexington Diamond Middle School and High School varsity improv troupes. In high school, he hosted the school’s a cappella jams, writing, performing, and improvising nearly 100 original sketch and stand-up bits over four years. With over a decade of experience in singing, theatre, and storytelling, Jake brings a mastery of stage presence, comedic timing, and the art of captivating an audience.
A seasoned teacher with years of experience in philosophy and meditation, Jake brings a unique depth to improv training. He guides students to cultivate presence, spontaneity, and openness—skills essential both on stage and in everyday life. By blending mindful awareness with comedic play, Jake helps students build confidence, creativity, and the ability to adapt and connect authentically. In his classes, improv becomes more than just performance; it becomes a practice of living fully, thinking clearly, and relating deeply—a powerful extension of personal growth.
